All of you people that are seeking a lawsuit are rediculous. Any intramuscular injection can cause what you are describing as muscular atrophy. What must be stopped? Do you truly believe that your physician/prescriber wanted to hurt you? Or is it more of ... more »
All of you people that are seeking a lawsuit are rediculous. Any intramuscular injection can cause what you are describing as muscular atrophy. What must be stopped? Do you truly believe that your physician/prescriber wanted to hurt you? Or is it more of the person being injected's job to be educated in what they are receiving? By allowing the injections, you are consenting treatment and the side effects that may occur with the injection. If you have gotten this side effect, though it is upsetting, it is not the doctors fault. Next time, educate yourself better. Stop being so litigious because you will be wasting your time and money in court.
Chris_young - It doesn't cost anyone but the attorney's representing you money. If the case is won only then will your attorney recover money. So please explain why an attorney would say he has a case if he doesn't really think he does? I don't know anyone that like to just give money away for free.
Ky G - excuse me but what if they had told me this first_that i would be injecting anti freeze into my arm? I dont belive i would have consented then...
my arm is RUINED. it has tracked up my veins, into my lymph system and the injection site continues break open and the skin tears off...all up my arm as well thank you.

Badoctober - thank you. It is not the patients fault. The doctors should stay updated on the medications. I also have went to nine doctors over the years.. I am now seriously crippled with muscle and nerve damage.. Cannot be repaired. Crippled for life.. and it is ongoing and progressive. No doctor could tell us what was wrong for three years. FDA MFG. BMS BRISTOL MYER SQUIBB should have made it known that this could happen. Still today the doctors and nurses are ignorant to what the side effects and seriousness of administering this ACID into your body It does have LIFE LONG disability and LIFE THREATENING SIDE EFFECTS. BLOOMSBERG NEWS posted update on side effects. RESEARCH shows that the doctors do not know what they are administering. They have been using this medication for years. but.. there seems to be a problem with all of the people complaining and horrible side effects .. even deaths have occured. So the person that posted that it is the patients fault.. you are so wrong.. and the side effects are HORRIFIC.. LIFE LONG Damaging side effects. THIS MEDICATION SHOULD NOT BE ADMINISTERED IT EFFECTS EVERY ORGAN IN YOUR BODY.. It is like INJECTING OSTEOPOROSIS.. THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE HORRIBLE. LIFE THREATENING LIFE DAMAGING. I know.. The side effects have been covered up. The doctors are NOT REPORTING THE SIDE EFFECTS.. WHEN SOMEONE COMES BACK TO THEIR OFFICE WITH A COMPLAINT. Yes the doctors scratch their heads.. and act surprised.. or ignorant to the problem. because they are required to send in a report on the side effects.. and they are not doing this.. so that causes a problem..

Ky G - MYSTERY SOLVED
NOW I KNOW WHY ALL DOCTORS _EXCEPT DERMATOLOGISTS AND THE VASCULAR SURGEON_ WAS ELUSIVE AND REFUSED TO WRITE DOWN MY INJRY DUE TO A KENALOG INJECTION
Once the side effects or adverse effects are noted_they are then REQUIRED BY LAW_TO REPORT IT TO THE FDA
Once that happens, and they are aware_ than any further injection made by any doctor who noted it then become liable for knowing that hits occurs
SO TODAY I DISCOVERED my orig injection in 2008 was Kenalog 10
But my injection on 1/5/2011 was Kenalog 40_as stated by Dr Merok on phone to me_big difference
I asked the manger of facility that gave injection the batch and lot number and which Kenalog.
She avoided the injurious injection and went back to the one done in a different site altogether with positive results and pulled those records_from 2008
Omitting the 2011 injection_stall tactics?
She pretended to misunderstand
I stated to her again what I needed and added that any adverse effects are to be reported to the FDA immediately
And that I have several documents stating that this was caused by this injection
She seemed taken aback
I stated that when she sent her letter to the FDA I will come in for a copy of that letter
(as it does refer to MY treatment)
So now i know why docs who inject this stuff are more than remiss to explain_they are then liable once they know the possibilities
And I am called a nut job because doctors continue to use this stuff knowing the possible outcomes
And they don’t want to give up using the drug
Ky G - Here is where one doctor essentially blamed this on me and called me crazy :
"I am at a loss to explain the abnormality with skin sloughs and repetitive hemorrhages as described by the patient. I cannot exclude the possible factitious etiology to this problem"....in part meaning this is all in my head and i created it…
see, if he noted it he would have to report it and then there goes his business of injecting. And this was from aq doc who reg. does injections. I thought if i went to a specailist who handled this stuff he would confirm...fat chance. i was told by a frnd in nursing school that in their FIRST semester they are taught how to avoid lawsuits and deflect it back to the patient...
Corticosteroid Risks - Dear Ky G: might there be a chance the saline infiltration could help you? Doctors told me repeatedly that the corticosteroids had long cleared out of my system, but this is not necessarily true. Surgeons routinely see the crystals of corticosteroids with particulate (i.e. Kenalog and Depo-medrol) years after injections. Check posts on "saline infiltration" on this website. I can sent you a few articles if there's a way to contact you. Of course, this technique would not work for ESI (no way to flush out the spine), but for intramuscular injections or non-ESI it is apparently effective in flushing out crystals lodged in the body that continue to cause damage. Just a thought . . . I'm so sorry to hear about your condition, and sadly not at all surprised by what you have come up against with doctors, having experienced much of this myself.

It's unfortunate that so many doctors are in the dark (or pretend to be) about the potentially disastrous side effects of these potent drugs.

Jhl3232 - I too had a injection of Kenalog in my face. And was not told of any side effects. I actually was told it was going to "help" make my face better. Upsettingly it didnt work. So Im doing what I can too possibly flush them kenalog out. Im on my third injection of saline because I researched the interent and found this article on fixing the dent with saline. Its [link removed] I also paid to read the entire article on the 4 people who had saline injected their faces. It showed pictures of before and after. My dent is the size of a dime. I also have a purple spot where this dent is. As you know its because the skin becomes sunken and you see blood vessels. I read another article about how this dent was corrected by a IPL, (intense pulse laser) helps restore collagen back. I have not tried that yet, I just read where someone did it from a kenalog injection. Another thing about the purple discoloration is because its lack of oxygen from the kenalog ingredients. So the saline injections supposedly helps bring oxygen back into the blood vessels to heal. I do not know what Im going to do after having these saline injections done weekly for another 2 months (because I also read kenalog stays in your system upto 3 months) I researched face fillers and the only thing I know will not have side effects is having fat grafting done. And plan to have this procedure if this dent is still on my face after a year from now. Just like everybody else who had this done, I really hate what Im seeing in the mirror, my eyes wont quit studying everyday on what is happening to my face. I hope it gets better for all of us. And I must say to "Ridiculous" ..when we all go to our doctors, we trust in them to do whats right. Im sure you made a doctors visit before and was given medicine not knowing what it is when you took it because it was going too make you feel better. So quit being a smart ass.
Ky G - Surprise Surprise_they gave me 4x the dose they were supposed to (K40 as opposed to 10 and nowhere does it mention it was diluted) and they are unable to locate the batch and lot numbers.....I am filing for an order of discovery wheni can make it to court house after all the other stuff inthe house settles down. my arm bust in three places again last night while watering thte lawn
