Lexapro Strange Side Effects, Yoga Meditation, Diarhea, Thin Hair, Positive Thinking
I started taking 5 mg of Lexapro for anxiety starting January 2010. I had some strange side effects at first, like extreme hunger, nothing big. Through A LOTTTT of exercise, yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, positive thinking I am happy to say I don't need Lexapro anymore. People need to remember to TREAT the problem, not just the symptoms. My doctor had me slowly wean off of the drug. I haven't taken it for 4 days now and I experience some dizziness throughout the day and some minor bouts of diarrhea. I really hope that eventually I stop losing so much hair. My doctor said it will take a few days to get out of my system, but then my therapist said it will take about a month. I wonder who is right.
