Phylisrn - Jen, I had the exact same problem and had thousands of dollars in test done. I had a stress test, cardiac cath, echo, ekg, cat scan, etc. The xray did show something that looked like a developing pneumonia in my lungs. They put me on two antibiotics and I got worse and worse.
I knew that Lisinopril did something to my lungs cause of all of that coughing and that sticky mucus. After talking to another sufferer that visits this site, I went to a holistic doctor. It was determined that I had a candida or yeast problem. You see, this drug destroys your immune system and allows the bad bacteria to take over your body. Have you been rebuilding your immune system back up with the Zinc and vitamin c that has been mentioned on this site? After almost 4 months, I am getting much better with the shortness of breath. In fact, I have not had it at all today.
Please, don't put your health care in the hands of a doctor.Do your own research. All of your answers are out there. People are dropping dead by the thousands listening to their doctors. You and only you are responsible for your health.I think I sent you some links to read and to get started.
I know it is scary, but you can feel better.
