Oh, sweet mutha of gawd! I'm recovering from several months of lisinopril. My life had been reduced to the velocity/amount of snot/mucus that would come flying out of my head at any one time. Constant coughing; hard, hacking. Non-stop post-nasal drip. I wondered how much fluid one person's head could produce in a day. Sometimes I would have to stop the car, get out, bend over and hack/puke/swab. The tears were blinding, the coughing disabling. My poor co-workers.
Leg pain. I was at the point that I thought I would soon be unable to walk. I had NO idea that this could be a side-effect of a medication!
I went online, and really started to dig around, and I'm astounded by what I've found. Why the hell are medical professionals prescribing this crap WITHOUT full disclosure? One would hope that our docs/nurse practitioners would monitor us very closely for first few months in order to prevent these side-effects from terrorizing us from dawn to dusk.
I have taken myself off this poison. I'm back to normal...almost. JFC.
