As an addendum to my post below, i have been stressed for 3 years (lost two jobs, miscarriage, broke ankle, sinus problems etc etc it just goes on) and am almost positive it is the reason i am having high bP readings. However, during sinus surgery my BP went through the roof, so my doctor said it needed to be checked as it shouldn't have spiked if i was under general anaesthetic. Anyway, my BP has been as high as 204/127 during BP monitoring. Because i was on a lot of pain killers for sinus probs, my consultant put me on Amitriptyline as well as my GP putting me on Lisinopril. Now i don't know which is causing the side effects and i don't want to stay on something which may potentially make me feel worse. Certainly i have felt dreadful throughout the day, some days, with debilitating fatigue and bloating. Any advice welcomed.
