I happened upon this site by accident, while searching the web for relief for my coughing, tickle in my throat, and post nasal drip. I had been coughing for at about a month or so and I just wrote it off to seasonal allergies. When I went to my dr. 2 weeks ago, she told me I had a sinus infection and that the symptoms would go away after being on antibiotics for about 2-3 days. I was hopeful that maybe I could finally get some sleep. But days later and I was worse if not better. again I called my dr and I was prescribed a round of steroids. At this point I was going through my head trying to figure out what could be triggering my allergies in such a way. All roads led to our brand new puppy, which we got about 1 and1/2 months ago. I was ready to go in for allergy testing and my husband was clear with our little girls that if mommy was allergic to the dog, he must go (I was sad, this was my very first dog..at my ripe old age, and I have grown to love buster) The day before yesterday I did my web search and came upon this site. When I saw the name lisinopril I almost died. I had been put on it about 1 1/2 mths ago, around the time we got our dog. I was so furious that if I hadn't found this site I would have lost my baby. I am so thankful that I stumbled upon it. I refused to take my dosage yesterday until I talked to my doctor. She switched me to zocor. I can't believe that something like lisinopril that can cause such quality of life lowering symptoms is allowed on the market.
Thank you all for posting your stories. And Buster I am sure would thank you as well. :-)
