I am on lupron right now 20cc a day and I've been on a little over a week now.
I have no hotflashes at all. I have a mild headache once in a while but thats the extent of it.
So for all the bad people out there that say what a horrible drug it is and makes them have horrible side effects there are some people that are lucky not to have any.
If you have any questions let me know but its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be
Schilcb - I hope you continued to do well on Lupron but it does take 2-4 weeks for your body to down regulate and put you in a menopausal state. so it is normal for you not to have any side effects at that time. Lupron side effects can be managed by adding Norethidrone Acetate 5m g daily BUT please remember that the incidence of side effects (ie hot flashes, etc) do demonstrate that the drug is doing what it is supposed to be doing. It is to shut down hormone production so that the endo lesions can regress (be starved of estrogen) and reduce the pain symptoms.
