Micardis Side Effect

I 've been taking Micardis for a number of years, but over the last 5 months i have noticed my face flushing and feeling itchy. The redness stays constantly and i look like i am blushing. It's really embarrassing. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did it stop when you ceased using Micardis? Please help, i'm desperate.
