Can't Wait Until This Thing Is Out!

I have had the mirena in since jan 2010 after having my daughter in nov 09. I bled a lot and constantly for almost 4 months after having it in, then did not have a real period, only light spotting once every few months, for over 2 years. I experienced many changes in my body, which until recently i attributed to my body changing after having a baby. Now I know it is all from the mirena. Some of the symtoms have been extreme nervousness and anxiety, back pain, headaches, and my hair thinned extremely. A few weeks ago I began to experience occasional lightheadedness, pelvic pain and cramping, and then about a week ago I started bleeding heavy than in a long time and cramping severly. After a few days of this I figured it was obviously time to call a doctor and get things checked out. I ended up being told to go directly to the hospital and get checked. Well I went and they did an ultrasouncd and said everything looked like it should and all was well... i replied except my symptoms. Its now 4 days later and I do not feel better, although the bleeding has stopped, i am having far worse back pains and lightheadedness, as well as occasional stabbing pains in my pelvic region... Needless to say I have an appt to get my mirena removed tomorrow and it can not come soon enough. Praying all goes well with removal and there are no problems... I have been reading up on a lot of mirena blogs, and am so sorry to all of you who are dealing with things like I am, and worse things stemming from mirena. I just wish that I would have been told more on what could happen to me from this thing before I got it.... and for all you ladies out there thinking about getting it, save yourselves the trouble and DONT!!!
