Mirena and Heart Rythms

I am 36 years old, and had the Mirena put in 2 years ago, and almost immediately after I had it put in, I began to have shortness of breath, and unusual heart rhythms, I was even put in the hospital because they thought I might be having a heart attack. I have these unusual episodes of extreme fluction of heart rhythms which get very bad at the beginning of the month, or the time that I should be having a period ( I do not have a regular period anymore, or none at all most of the time.)
The Doctor's keep saying that it is not the Mirena, but they do not have another explanation except to say that it is my "electronic makeup" of my heart. But this has never happened to me before the insertation of the Mirena. Can you tell me if this is common or has it ever been reported or complained about?
