Mirena Side Effects

I had the Mirena inserted about a month ago. I have gained 3 lbs. (my weight has always been very steady prior to this) and last night, the first night of my first period since having it inserted, I was up half the night with terrible night sweats. The only other time in my life that I ever had night sweats was after the births of my children. Has anyone else had similar problems with Mirena???
