Thought I Was Going Crazy

I have had the Merina since Aug 2010, I was very excited at first, never have to take another birth control bill or have a period! It sounded to good to be true....AND IT WAS! I first started to have horrible headaches as well as an upset stomach . I was told that it would go away just give it time, so I did. I become depressed and on edge all the time. I would blow up about the smallest things throwing stuff into walls and just wanting to curl up in a corner and never move again OR JUST DIE! It was as though I was trapped inside myself and was dying to come out but something was controling my body and mind. Never I have been this way even in the toughest times of my life, I have always been a strong independant single mother so i knew this was not me. But at the time i never thought it could be the Merina I just thought i was going crazy and was scared to tell anyone. I tried to fight the feeling in me but it was uncontrolable. My good friend come over one night and saw one of my episodes and said "Oh my god! What is going on with you!" I tried to explain to him how i was feeling and he right away googled depression/ Merina. We saw many women talking about how they were feeling and everything they were going through i was going through. I WAS NOT ALONE NOR GOING CRAZY! I called my doctor the next morning and they fit me in that day to have my Merina removed. I told my doctor what I was feeling and she simply said " It's not that i dont believe you but you are the only one I have ever known to has these symptoms." Well I think thats nuts if i was one of the rare ones then why are there so many of us writing about it. Maybe they need to test the Merina a little more before putting it out on the market OR the doctors need to give you more information about the side affects. Anyways I have had it out for three days and i am starting to feel myself again!
