I was given Mydriacyl eye drops for an eye exam. Within a few minutes my eyes were very red and tearing profusely. About the same time I started having heart palpatations and felt nauseated and not thinking clearly.
The staff at the optical department were very unconcerned, including the optometrist. The only instruction I recieved was to wear sunglasses. I drove myself home VERY carefully, in retrospect I don't think that was a good idea. I felt terrible for the rest of the day and not especially good the following day.
