I have a herniated cervical spine and at times it becomes quite bothersome, other times its subdued, I've been living with it for a few years. My question is, would oxycodone be the best alternative for the occasional alleviation of this pain. From my research, it seems that all other pain medications have aspirin, acetaminophen, ibuprofen or naproxen in them, None of which I want to take because they are toxic. Oxycodone seems to be the least toxic on the body in low doses, but I also am concerned of developing an addiction to it.
