    I was diagnosed eight months ago with temporal arteritis and PMR. I need some encouragement from someone who has this illness. I have already experienced a relapse from tapering too quickly with prednisone. Prednisone is giving me such bad fatigue al - 54% more...

    I have both...been using the drugs for three years cannot get by my self out of bed...I suffered from depression.And anxiety..My eyes are getting affected I was so healty one day ..sick the next I am 62 years old ..I fell robbed of my soul....

    Thank you for responding. I am so glad to know that you are doing better and that you are doing wel at age 78. I will increase the Omega 3 capsules, and stay positive about the possiblity of getting off prednisone, or at least reducing to a low dosag - 62% more...

    I had PMR for 6 years..and yes I am off prednisone. I slowly weaned off it in the last year and a half by reducing dose slowly by .5 milligrams and staying there til the pain was bearable..then down anothe .5 milligram..had many painful days but I al - 71% more...

    I was diagnosed with Temporal Arteritis 8 months ago. I am glad you have not had to deal with temporal arteritis which goes along with some PMR sufferers. Prednisone is really a hard drug on your body. It is the only drug to counteract the effects of - 34% more...

    I have temporal arteritis and PR, although the PR is not bothering me as much as the prednisone symptoms. I have been on prednisone for 8 months and it is really making me so fatigued. I would like to hear your story.....thanks
