I too have been having this problem, esp. for the past 3 months and have been on Protonix for about 6 1/2 months. I've now had the doc put me back on Prevacid. Have you stopped taking Protonix?? If so, how long before you stopped losing your hair??

I get terrible hunger pangs from Protonix, even right after a meal!! It seems to MAKE me hungry all the time. So did the others like Prilosec, Prevacid, etc. Must be the whole class. Only these drugs do this to me! That's the only side effect I get, - 12% more... -

I have been on Protonix for about 6 weeks and I am having difficulty in emptying my bladder. Is there any connection? I haave already had surgery for this problem. I am a 64 year old female.
