Remicade Imuran, Sideeffects, Flagyl, Prednisone, Shortness of Breath

Took Remicade, Imuran,flagyl,Prednisone,prevacid,Elavil four years ago an Prednisone and Flagyl since Know Iam having bad side effects of shortness of breath an fatigue and wear out easy and do good to deal with day to day life. I have been to many doctors an to the emergency room because of the shortness of breath an do not get any answers or much help. An they do not wont to talk about medications causing any of this they act like they dont want to get involved. Is their anybody else out there that has had bad side effects like this.If so i would like to Know.

Aalexander - i have the same symptoms of shortness of breath, fatigue, occassional chest pain. back in nov i went to hosp because my heart rate was out of control and i felt like i was having a heart attack. i got my medical records and found out i was diagnosed as having anxiety when in fact i was having a delayed infusion reaction a week after receiving my 2nd dose of remicade. dr's stopped remicade and started me on humira....on for 3mos--didnt help me. just had another bad flare up the end of june and received remicade while in hosp, the day after i got home started having severe shortness of breath so i took lasix and ativan to help relieve my symptoms. sob at rest went away but still having sob with activity, intermittent chest pain, back pain and fatigue. i am part of remistart and they called me a couple days ago to check on me. i told them my symptoms and they transferred me to a remicade rep who said that these side effects are common and treatable with corticosteroids, antihistamines, medrol dose packs and/ or analgesics if necessary and there is no reason to have to "suffer through these symptoms. said the side effects can go away over time and doctor should be treating side effects. i called my GI dr office and was told i would have to wait until my regular GI got back from maternity leave before issues/ symptoms would be addressed!!! why should i have to wait and suffer for 3more weeks? im going to call my family dr to see if she will help me and call remicade back and notify them of the response that i received because they do report these incidents. the medical info dept for remicade questions for patients and providers is 1-800-457-6399
