6 Year Old Daughter and Prilosec

My daughter who is 6 has been on prilosec for her stomach for about 2 months now. For the past month she has been having nightmares and very bad thoughts. Could this be because of the prilosec has anyone ever experienced this with their child? And if so can I just take her off of it right away since she hasn't been on it too long? Someone please help...
