I Am in PAIN
Posted over a year ago
I am taking synthroid, I hurt incredibly bad, heart races, very high anxiety, eyes bother me...very confused because I hear this stuff about tsh 3 and tsh 4...Drs. don't test for both, some Drs. claim you don't have to...I feel like HELL. Is anyone out there in a lot of pain from taking synthroid?
Tamaram - If your heart is racing, you have high anxiety and your eyes hurt and feel like they are going to bulge out of your head, then you need to locate an Endocronologist immediately. You need to have a complete Thyroid work-up, which includes a radioactive iodine uptake test (done at the hospital on outpatient basis) and have another blood test run on your TSH, Free T3 and Free T4. Forget about your regular physician. Go to a doctor who knows what they are doing. I was almost in Thyroid Storm due to misdiagnosis from my regular GP. I almost died. Don't wait to do this, please.
Deb_anschutz@yahoo.com - My doctor gave me sythroid on 1 Feb. I started having the worst pain in the muscles in my legs. I thought I had fibromyalgia or neuropathy. It got so bad I couldn't even walk. I quit taking it 5 days ago and the pain in my legs is almost gone. I told my doctor about it and he thought I was crazy.
