I have been on Trazodone 200-300mg nightly for sleep and have recently begun having increased dental sensitivity. Could this be the culprit?
Bbutler06 - Sleeping meds are usually partly made up of a depressant which is what slows you down and makes you sleepy. To know whether or not this medicine is the culprit, you have to relate it to something similar you have taken/done before. For example, if you stay up and drink a liberal amount of alcohol, you might have tooth sensitivity the next day. (i know i do) but it makes you slowed and helps you sleep, and has the same outcome. so ask yourself if your teeth hurt the morning after a drinking binge. If yes, its the meds. If no, search elsewhere.
