Yasmin Heart Palpitations, Dizziness and Nausea, Rheumatologist, Short Term Memory, Joint Pain
I have been on Yasmin for about 2 years now, and I really never had any problems until about 1 1/2 yrs into it. The following are my symptoms:
-feeling like I got hit by a truck (im 24 and feel like im in the body of a 80 yr old!)
-heart palpitations
-ALWAYS thirsty, even after I just got done drinking!
-short-term memory is poor
-dizziness and nausea in the morning
-shakey
-muscle/joint pain (i am currently seeing a rheumatologist)
-when I first started taking Yasmin, my vision CHANGED and got slightly worse but I didn't think anything of it)
-headaches
-feeling like i have one big bruise all over my body (i am soooo tender and sensitive!) ... more »

I can't think of any more for now, but I'm sure theres more!
I am stopping this pill TODAY because for some reason, TODAY is when I realized that Yasmin could be doing this to me. I kept asking Doctors if Yasmin can be contributing to all my muscle/joint pains, etc...but they ALL say NO!!! I don't get it?!?!?!? And after reading all your postings, i KNOW its YASMIN!!! I hope there's no permanent damage, b/c that would REALLY suck! I don't wanna live with this pain for the rest of my life! I have another rheumatologist appt this week AND I have to make an appt for my palpitations with a cardiologist, AND i just made an appt w/ a new Gyno. I am so scared, you have no idea! I never wanted to get on the pill b/c I was terrified of the side effects, but my boyfriend INSISTED and now look what happened...
